This all depends on your particular insurance plan. Typically, most PPO's, Medicare and Medi-Cal patients do not need a referral or an authorization to be seen at AGMG. All patients under a health plan or IPA need a referral and an authorization to be seen. Typically these will come from your primary care physician or from another specialist.

It depends on the provisions of your policy. As a courtesy, our authorizations department will verify your benefits and obtain an authorization from your insurance if needed. Depending on your policy, it is possible that a co-insurance or deductible might be due. We will not collect any payment before your procedure but will send a statement once your insurance company has processed the claim.
