COVID-19 Update

Letter to Our Patients

To the patients of AGMG,

Because of COVID-19, this is an unprecedented time with lots of unknowns and uncertainties. We are taking every precaution necessary to protect our patients and our staff while still prioritizing the needs of our patient who require ongoing and immediate care. As such - we have made office changes to try to minimize exposure risk for our patients whose medical conditions are non-urgent.

In accordance with CDC and the American College of Gastroenterology recommendations, our office staff will be calling many of patients to reschedule upcoming procedures and appointments for a future date. Our office hours and appointment will be limited to reduce risk of exposure for all patients and staff. If you do still need an urgent appointment or procedure, please limit the number of family members that you bring to one and be prepared for additional screening measures such as temperature checks at the door.

We are asking that you understand the need for these precautions and work with us to "flatten the curve". It is understandably frustrating when these appointments may have been made months ago but it is in the greater good for our Southern California community.

Our office staff is available via telephone or email for all questions. We are also working on systems to do telephone visits if appropriate. This is a rapidly changing situation and we will be following all guidelines put out by the appropriate health agencies.

We wish you all the best and appreciate letting us take care of your digestive needs. Remember to wash your hands, do not touch your face and keep your distance.
